Our Tradition Pass It On initiative is proud to be part of the Art of Edina Southdale mall exhibit. Over 150 paper lanterns were installed on November 12 th , 2017 by Art of Edina at the Southdale Center. The installation is part of the Shine On Project. The lanterns were created by the 4 th and 5 th grade classes at Our Lady of Grace Catholic School. The 3 month installation focuses on joy and light around the world.

This is a collaborative project with the Minneapolis-based American Refugee Committee (ARC). Photos taken by a group of travelers that visited the Nakivale Refugee Settlement with ARC in Uganda are also part of the installation.

Tradition Companies, has donated one solar-powered headlamp in the honor of each OLG student that has a lantern displayed! The headlamps are being sent to the refugee settlement in Uganda and given to a person who does not have electricity in their home. The Art of Edina galleries are sponsored by Tradition Companies and directed by Jill Emmer of Shine On Photos.
