Is there a better way to kick off a new year than by serving others? A group of our employees at Tradition Capital Bank recently returned from over a week in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. Participating in a MATTER Insight Trip, the team had the chance to see first-hand some of the many projects that MATTER’s partners have launched in that beautiful country. They flew halfway around the world to help. From painting the interior of the newly opened Doyle Collaboration Center, to planting nutritious Chaya trees, to preparing a Chaya meal for residents in an elderly care facility, they were busy. Perhaps most memorable to the team was their visit to the Victoria Falls Hospital to see equipment Tradition sponsored in 2021 being used in the maternity ward to improve healthcare for new mothers and their babies. The impact they made in their short time in Zimbabwe will be felt for decades to come.
