MILITARY APPRECIATION NIGHT | DA BEAUTY LEAGUE

On July 18th, Tradition Companies partnered with the United Heroes League to put together a Military Appreciation Night at Braemar Arena in Edina, MN during the Da Beauty League. The United Heroes League is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to keep military kids active and healthy while their parents serve our country. They have provided over $3 MILLION dollars worth of free sports equipment, game tickets, cash grants, and skill development camps to military families across the US & Canada. Tradition Companies has been named one of the Top 150 Workplaces in Minnesota by the Star Tribune for the sixth year in a row! 10TH ANNUAL HOPEKIDS 5K/10K + KIDS FUN RUN | LAKEVILLE, MN

Tradition Companies hosted our 10th Annual HopeK 5K/10K + Kids Fun Run benefitting HopeKids Minnesota on Saturday, June 9th in our Spirit of Brandtjen Farm neighborhood in Lakeville. We surpassed our goal for this year’s event and raised over $82,000 for HopeKids Minnesota. We couldn’t have asked for a better day for our quarterly employee get together on Tuesday, June 5th. It was definitely one for the books! NORTH OAKS BRANCH | GRAND OPENING

A busy week for Tradition Capital Bank with their Grand Opening of the new North Oaks Branch.  The highly anticipated opening week consisted of daily events from an open house, lunch and learn, ribbon cutting, women in business breakfast, and other networking events.  The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony took place on Tuesday, June 5th in the presence of multiple staff members, as well as the White Bear Area Chamber of Commerce and other business professionals and residents of the area.  The new office will serve the North and East markets of the twin cities where private banking was currently not available.  […] Read more »

TRADITION PASS IT ON SCHOLARSHIP | 2018

This year, Tradition Pass It On created a scholarship program to offer to Edina residents. This scholarship is offering $1,000 to three students who attend Edina High School, do community service, have held leadership positions in athletics, the arts or clubs/organizations, have lettered in at least two high school activities and have at least a 3.0 GPA.  A special congratulations to our very first Tradition Pass It On Scholarship recipients: Owen Gage, Ashley Post, and Katherine Higgins. ART OF EDINA | SPRING GALLERY LAUNCH – SOUTHDALE MALL

On Saturday, April 28th, we held a private launch party to honor the artists and celebrate a beautiful new art installation in the Southdale Mall in Edina.  As part of our Art of Edina initiative through Tradition Pass It On, we partner with schools around the Edina area and display art from students.  This Art of Edina installment partnered with Highlands and Creek Valley Elementary Schools.  A total of 30 pieces of are are on display in the main atrium of Southdale Mall and will remain up for three months. TRADITION COMPANIES QUARTERLY EMPLOYEE EVENT

We had a full house at the University Club of St. Paul for our quarterly employee get-together!  Our employees from all across the Twin Cities metro area came together Wednesday, February 21st, to meet and mingle with over 200 of their co-workers!  A special thank you to the University Club of St. Paul for hosting our group.  Taking the time to get our employees from each of our various branches/companies together quarterly is important to us.  Working together, we can take on the world! 2018 LABATT BLUE U.S. POND HOCKEY CHAMPIONSHIPS

5TH ANNUAL QUINN’S CUP RAISES $40,000 FOR MYOCARDITIS FOUNDATION

Quinn’s Cup is an annual pond hockey tournament in Edina, MN that started in 2013.  This event was created by Kelly and Kyle Kirsch, in honor of their son Quinn, who’s life was taken too soon from Myocarditis. The tournament is not only a way for the Kirsch family to raise money and awareness for Myocarditis and the Myocarditis Foundation, but also to provide an event to bring together friends and family to celebrate Quinn’s life.  Hockey was what Quinn loved to do, so what better way to celebrate him than an outdoor hockey tournament.
